Question 1

Transfer from the meeting point in Sorrento to the port of Piano di Sorrento for a full day on board of a small group private Sorrento goiter boat tour with and expert skipper to discover the Sorrento’s coast and admire from the sea the island of Capri, the pearl of the Gulf of Naples, characterized by its jagged coastlines, caves and quarries which alternate with steep cliffs. You will live a day of full relaxation marked by sailing along coasts which have been loved since for centenaries.

During the journey you can admire: the ancient fishing village of Marina Grande, the remains of a Roman villa near the Bagni della Regina Giovanna, the natural waterfall that flows from the rock in Cala di Mitigliano, and other attractions along the coast. Stops to visit the Marvelous Grotto, the White Grotto, the Green Grotto and the Blue Grotto (the visit to the Blue Grotto is subject to weather and sea conditions, so it is possible that the Grotto may be closed in case of adverse weather and sea conditions).

Along the way you can observe the Natural Arch, the villa of Curzio Malaparte, the Faraglioni and the Punta Carena lighthouse. There are a couple of stops with free time for swimming and snorkeling in crystal clear waters, as well as a relaxing break with snacks and drinks offered on board. (snorkeling equipment - mask and snorkel - and beach towel are not included).

This tour does not stop to visit Capri.

During the way back to Sorrento you can enjoy your first limoncello tasting onboard.

Return to the port of Piano di Sorrento and transfer to the meeting point.

Question 3

Pompeii guided visit of this of one the most visited museum sites in Italy, UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a unique place ensuring an incomparable experience for visitors. There are nine "Regio" i.e. the nine areas that can be visited in this ancient city, divided between ancient streets and alleys, amphitheaters and the evocative necropolis, as well as villas, homes, temples and public and recreational buildings. This important archaeological site was buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D. It is a step back in time ensuring in-depth testimony of Roman history.

Continue to Herculaneum, another UNESCO World Heritage site and perfect testimony of life in a typical Roman city. Founded according to legend by Hercules, it was buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Admire the streets, villas, shops, spa buildings and places of worship. A place of memory that preserves a priceless cultural heritage, an example of a historical period characterized by its lifestyle and its daily life.

At the end of the visit return to Positano.

Question 5

Ravello, perched on a hill over 350 metres above sea level with a unique panoramic view from this magnificent natural balcony, ideally positioned to admire one of the most magnificent coastlines in the world from above. Enjoy the scents of the Mediterranean maquis, and admire the ancient villas embraced by flowering gardens testify to the love that noble souls had for this place. Visit of the ancient and dreamlike residence Villa Cimbrone sitting high atop a promontory that offers stunning views of the Mediterranean and the dramatic coastline below, the Villa is the crown laurel of Ravello. Its origins date back to the 11th century, but the villa and the gardens were extensively renovated in the early 20th century. The main walkway, Viale dell’Immenso, features a pergola, best seen in the summer when the white and blue wisteria are in full bloom. Unmissable the villa’s belvedere, Terrazza dell’Infinito, (at 365 meters above the sea) is lined by a series of marble busts that on clear days sparkle against the bluesky above and the azure waters of the Mediterranean below.

At the end of the tour return to Positano.
