Praiano is a picturesque village located halfway between Amalfi and Positano, between the mountains and the sea. Its historical centre is rich in treasures of great historical and cultural value, including the Church of San Gennaro with its lively dome covered in multicoloured majolica.

Amalfi, which gives its name to the entire coastline, is world-famous for its artistic beauty and charming inlets it was the first Maritime Republic of Italy, with its own currency and laws. Not to be missed the splendid Cathedral of Sant’Andrea, dating back to the 9th century but rebuilt in the early 13th century in Arab-Norman style and a second time in the 13th century, with its marvellous staircase and famous frescoed cloister known as the Cloister of Paradise.

Located in the centre of the Amalfi Coast, Minori is a delightful town founded by the Etruscans, it was a favourite holiday resort of the Roman nobility, as demonstrated by the discovery of a patrician villa dating back to the 1st century AD. Among its innumerable religious buildings, the majestic neoclassical Basilica of Santa Trofimena is definitely worth a visit. Minori also owes its fame to the historic production of pasta, particularly the famous ‘ndunderi’, a kind of fresh gnocchi made with semolina and ricotta cheese, which is believed to be the oldest Italian pasta.

Maiori was originally called Rheginna, an Etruscan name, to which Major was added to distinguish it from Minori, but as the centuries went by the name became Major, which was later transformed into Maiori, which boasts the title of royal city remarked by the crown that stands out in the coat of arms that represents it. Roberto Rossellini wanted this village as the setting for many of his films, probably enchanted by its beaches and paths that open to the sea, its houses perched among the green Lattari Mountains colonized by lemon trees. Minori is distinguished by the important number of large and small churches that rise among private homes, or overlook the waves, and of castles and towers rise a little everywhere, like sentinels, witnesses of times gone by and struggles now over.

Cetara is a small fishing village on the Amalfi Coast set between sea and mountains. It has always been considered a niche tourist destination thanks to its deep connection with traditional economic activities, primarily fishing, thus preserving, practically intact, its charm of a seaside village. The link with the sea, which bathes the lower part of the village, together with the mountains that surround it in the upper part, give the village a particular amphitheater. The village is also famous for the DOP-certified Anchovy colatura and IGP-certified Sfusato Amalfitano lemon.
